Every time I try and hit record, an error pops up and says, "Error while opening sound device. Please check settings and the project sample rate."

I used the exact same mic about a hour ago and it worked perfectly. Now this error pops up. I tried re downloading it and everything. It still dosent work. HELP PLEASE!

P.S. I am uing a Logtech USB Mic.

1) Close Audacity
2) Use "safely remove hardware" to disconnect the USB microphone
3) Physically unplug the USB microphone and wait a few moments.
4) Plug the USB microphone back in and wait for Windows to recognise and connect it.
5) Open Audacity
6) In Audacity, go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O" and make sure that the USB microphone is selected as the recording device. You probably want your computer sound card to be the playback device.
