Zoom In/Out Feature Request

Feature Request: Zoom In/Out On the Time Axis with lesser mouse movement
Currently, mouse wheel movement causes zoom in/out on the vertical/amplitude axis. This can also be done by clicking on the vertical axis on the left. AFAIK, to zoom in/out in the horizontal/time scale, you have to use the +/- buttons.
In my (limited) experience, while editing tracks one wants to move more along the horizontal/time axis than along the vertical axis. Currently, there is a lot of moving back and forth between editing the track and zooming in/out via the +/- buttons.
Here's the Feature Request:
- It would be useful if mouse wheel movement enables zoom in/out on the horizontal/time axis from the current mouse position.
- If you are reluctant to change the wheel movement behavior (from vertical axis to horizontal axis), it would help a lot if you implemented a Right Click option to zoom in/out from the current mouse position. It would save a lot of effort/time while editing tracks.
