I'm having an issue trying to record streaming audio, it only picks up through the built in internal mic. I cannot get it to record streaming audio internally, the only way it's able to record is with the internal mic picking up the sound from the laptops speakers, which also means it picks up outside noise. My operating system is XP Pro. Any ideas?
Thanks

You can set up Windows Control panel to feed the computer's speaker feed directly to Audacity. At least most PC computers can do that. Some of the newer ones intentionally removed this process.
