Zooming to whole project

I have a requirement to add tracks comprising several discrete tones. I am doing this with the generate tone tool, but after each insert, Audacity 1.37 zooms out to show the whole project. This is very annoying as I then have to zoom in again and there are often 100 or more instances of this for each track (up to 6 tracks).
Is there any way to stop this behavior?
I am sure that Version 1.2 did not do this, but I also need the much improved Labeling track that Version 1.3 has.

IIRC this may be a bug that has been reported already - I seem to remember a similar posting fairly recently but I can't find it again.

I think it was discussed on the Audacity Developers mailing list not long ago, but I can't find that either.
As far as I know you can not stop this from happening, but you can press Ctrl+E to zoom to the section that you have just generated (because the generated section is selected). It can still be a bit annoying, but at least Ctrl+E is a quick way back to where you were and a lot faster than other ways of zooming.

Cheers for that guys.
We have another project to do shortly and will try this out!

The Koz Version of that is Control-E to zoom into the selection and then Control-3 to zoom out slightly. These two key combinations may leave you very close to where you were when you started the edit. It's very fast. E and 3 are next to each other.
