hey... totally new to pc recording... i run windows xp and i purchased the behringer ucg102 to record my bass and it came with audacity 1.2.6.... followed instructions for instalation... my problem is when i got to the audio i/o audacity does not provide me the choice to use the ucg102 as an input to record...its probably something stupid but i'm rather pc stupid so....

The UCG 102 must be connected to the computer BEFORE you open Audacity (allow Windows a few moments to recognise the device - Windows will probably tell you when the new hardware is ready also, the name in Audacity may be slightly different from ucg 102).
