Imported WAV File and Audacity File Are Different Lengths

Following problem occurs in 1.3.7 but not in 1.2.6. I wanted to combine a WAV file, ripped from a music CD, with an Audacity vocal recording made with the solist singing using the CD music / background singers as the soundtrack. This was made during a church service and, due to some incorrect settings on my mixing board to the computer, I did not record the soundtrack until about 3 minutes into the 5 minute recording!!! When I imported the WAV file, it was approx. 5 seconds longer than the Audacity recording of the solist. The Audacity recording had originally been made using 1.2.6 and I opened it in 1.3.7 before importing the WAV file. I then tested importing the WAV file into 1.2.6 and it is exactly the same length as the origin Audacity recording of the vocalist. Using 1.2.6, the WAV file perfectly matched the music / background singers that I had already captured during the last 2 minutes of the original recording once I identified the problem with my audio mixing board switch settings. Has anyone else seen a similar timing problem in 1.3.7 when attempting to import a WAV file that should be the same length as a previously recorded Audacity file?

Thanks!
Richard
