What is the best DVD software for burning large compilations

Post by Jony113 » Sat Nov 15, 2008 6:27 am

Basically I have downloaded all the episodes of Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles from Amazon, which would be too large to fit onto a normal DVD. So I'm looking for software which will be able to compress the files to fit on 1 DVD for viewing on my DVD player.

Audacity, the audio editing program is probably the worst program in the world to help with this.

You need a serious video editing and compression program and a very large machine. Video editors need to uncompress videos to work on them, so your season long collection would expand into several TeraBytes of data before recompression onto a DVD.

Check out DVDshrink for backing up DVD movies.

Get an 8.5 gig recordable DVD! Best DVD recording software you can get, and its free, is DVD Shrink. It also compresses!
