Hello Audacity forum,

I am contacting you from Teachers TV. We recently shot a short show in which children were using audacity to record the school choir and Audacity is obviously seen and mentioned several times.

I am looking for an email or contact details for somebody within the Audacity organisation to discuss obtaining a materials release for our show.

If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would be hugely grateful.

We're delighted to hear Audacity appears on the show you made for Teachers TV. I have sent a copy of this reply to your e-mail address, as well as posting it on the Forum.

While we will grant permission, we would like if at all possible that Audacity receives the following citation in any scrolling credits that appear at the end of the program (or elsewhere). This is so our copyright and trademark is respected:

The part inside [ ] is not essential and can be omitted. If this is not possible for some reason, then we can discuss the particular circumstances.

We don't have any permissions document ourselves, but if you have a document that is required I will sign one for you.
