Standard Audacity projects must include the uncompressed audio in the project _data folder, which makes them too large to e-mail.

You can send to others as a compressed Audacity project (compressed OGG format, slightly lossy), or to be lossless, export tracks as WAV files, zip them up then send them to a file hosting service. You can also do that for standard Audacity projects, as long as any imported WAV or AIFF files are copied into the project.

Sure, but. You need to send the AUP file and the closely associated _DATA folder with all the actual music in it. You have to also send along all the imported music you used in your show and in the right folders.

You don't need the music step if you elected to include imported music in your Project (_DATA Folder).

File > Check Dependencies.

Audacity > Preferences > Projects > [X] Copy All Audio....

There's a resync command, too, but I don't remember where it is.

Whoever ends up with the files and folders needs to keep them in the same folder or directory for them to work. Also, of course, you all have to have the same version of Audacity and all the same plugins.
