Printing Audacity 1.3.x manual

Post by midnight » Mon Aug 29, 2011 9:22 pm

Is it possible to print out the manual straight through instead of having to click on each subtitle and open that section?

When it comes to manuals, I need something in my hands!!

Thanks.

The 1.3.x manual is currently only available in HML format.
Tools exist that allow printing of entire web sites, but note that the full manual runs to over 200 hundred pages, many of which will not be relevant to the tasks that you are using Audacity for.
If you need a hard copy, it may be worth considering purchasing a book about Audacity - given the cost of ink this may actually work out cheaper. There's a selection of books about Audacity listed on the Audacity wiki: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Books_about_Audacity

Added to which the 1.3 manual is pretty dynamic - changes are made to it on an almost daily basis to keep it in step with the latest 1.3.x Alpha nighly-build releases (currently 1.3.14).

Thanks for that explanation. I didn't realize it was changing that frequently. I'll just muddle :? along for a while yet.
