That Audacity AUP sound file format must be pretty terrific given the number of people using it.

I think that today my preferred solution for a Unitary Audacity Project is like "Export Compressed Copy of Project", but using WAV files rather than Ogg files.

I'm not solving the Unitary Project problem. I'm addressing the much more basic problem of people expecting Audacity to Save a sound file.

That's not to say that a Unitary Project isn't a terrific idea.
