Opening Audacity

Post by bmatthews0626 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 7:13 pm

Hello all,

Does anyone out there have any idea why I can't seem to open or run audacity? I keep getting some weird error messages. Can anyone help me with this? I have audacity version 1.3.13 I think it is. I don't know if I am using a wrong password or what, but I try to run it and I get this message: "The service cannot be started because it is disabled or it has no enabled devices associated with it" I don't get a message about not having a wrong password or username. I don't know why I am having this problem all of a sudden because I have opened and used it before without this problem. Wouldn't I get a message if I used a wrong username and/or password and could retrieve that info? Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill Matthews :)

I think that message is produced by your operating system rather than Audacity.
What operating system are you using?
Are you an administrator of that computer?
Where did you get Audacity from?
