Is it now a plugin that must be separately downloaded and installed? If so, where can I get it?

I think that it is included in Audacity 1.3.5
Look in the "Generate" menu - below the horizontal line.

Which version of Audacity do you have? (look in "Help > About Audacity")
You are using Windows XP?

The clicktrack plug-in should be included in Audacity 1.3.5
Perhaps you have a partially broken download (bits missing). Try downloading Audacity again from the main Audacity web site: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows

Download the Audacity 1.3.5 installer (.exe file, 3,0 MB) for Windows 2000/XP/Vista
This links to the file on Sourceforge

Fresh install certainly fixed it. I've got the click track back as well as "pluck" and "risset drum" (whatever that is). I guess I deleted the plugin somehow one day. Anyway, thanks a lot.
