When I exported my less than 1 second sound in WAV format, it will not read or play it.
Please fix that annoying bug as soon as possible.

How did you get the short track? Did you record it live that way or did you get that track by cutting down a larger track?
It takes Audacity some time to go into the record mode. It has to start file management and initialize the graphics system. You may not actually have any sound information in your track. The blue waves on the timeline are produced by a picture file. They're not an absolute guarantee that you have sound.
Do you have the green playback sound meter bouncing during your show?

I can't reproduce the problem. Which version of Audacity do I need to use and on what operating system? Then what do I need to do to reproduce the problem?
