I'm trying Audacity instead of Sound Studio (MacOS X Bundle) mainly because it supports multi-track editing.
Anyway, I'm trying to do a thing I used to with Sound Studio that I can't figure out.
In Sound Studio :
I open two audio files, I copy one of the files opened, and then on the other file I put my cursor in some place, and I paste there.
Then Sound Studio pastes where I've put my cursor, and simply merge the existent signal with the one I'm pasting from.
In Audacity :
I've to import the two files, each file with its track, and then go to the Mix function.
But all of this seems complicated to me since I've got many many files to merge, and that would involve many many tracks in Audacity too. Any way to do this in Audacity like I used to in Sound Studio please ?
Best regards.
