Help! I occasionally end up with a recording with a beep-beep noise in the background, quite audible, renders the recording useless. Sounds like Morse Code: repeated pattern through the whole thing. Happens on one computer only, and this computer will play back a different recording just fine, so it seems to be in or during the recording process. Any chance this is a setup issue?
I'm baffled.

Re: Beep-Beep noise in recordings
It could be that the recording is picking up interference from somewhere.
What sort of computer is it, what are you recording?
If it's a laptop computer, try running it on battery while you record - laptop power supplies frequently cause interference.
If possible, try moving the computer to a different location, as far as possible from where the bad recordings occurred, then make a test recording.
