Genre types?

I understand that music has a wide variety of 'genres' but what do you put for 'genre' if your your audio is a speech? Podcast maybe? Are there typical genre-types for speech?
I don't think I know anybody creating content that's actually tried to use the genre flags. That and they've come under attack for occasionally labeling politically sensitive genres.
