No Words just ????? in Audacity

Ive just downloaded Audacity.

When i opened it up, i dont see any words at all. All i see are ????? (question marks) everywhere where words are supposed to be.

Why is that? How can i sort this out? what is coursing it?

Looks like you have an incorrect language selection

Open Audacity and press Ctrl+P
this will open the "Preferences" screen.

Click on the 5th item in the menu on the left hand side (interface).

On the middle selection box (language) select the language of your choice.

Restart Audacity to make the selection stick.
