English selected, but French version appeared

Downloaded the Beta version, using Windows 7, and selected English at installation...Upon opening to use Audacity, French showed up...have uninstalled, twice, and reinstalled, twice, and the same error...the software works, but I need English. Ideas, approaches for resolving would be very appreciated. Thank you! Jennifer

Open Audacity and then press Ctrl+P
This will open the "Preferences" window.
Go to the 5th item in the list on the left (Interface) and select "English" from the Language selection drop-down list.
Close Audacity and restart it to ensure that the setting sticks.
