Any alternative to markers?

Hello again.

We have a studio setup where editors record themselves and studio technicians edit out their errors afterwards.

Many sequencers do have a feature where you can place markers to tracks while recording. Is there any way to do the same kind of thing in Audacity?

During recording you can press Ctrl+M then type in a name for the label or just press ENTER.
