That's called vocal isolation and if you have a mono song or it was an internet download, nobody will be doing it.

What you're asking for is the opposite of vocal removal

One would think that if one can "remove" the vocals, then one should be able to use that "vocal only" track to remove the vocals from the original and leave the music. Sadly, that is not possible. The article linked above give the gory details.

"Elevayta Extra Boy" is a plug-in that claims to be able to do "vocal isolation" (commercial plug-in but only costs $0.90, or there is a free demo version).
How well it works depends very much on the type of sounds that are in the music- some music will work much better than others.

And they all work on stereo shows. they use the relationship between Left and Right to generate the separation signals. No stereo show, and that's the ball game. If you have a stereo show from the interent, the compression damage will kill you.
