Recording trouble

Post by alfgrs » Tue May 20, 2008 10:02 pm

Hi Buddies,

I can't recording only the other new track, when I try to record the voice, the recording capture the sound of previously track. I set the preference to "play other tracks while recording new one", it's not working. Why can I do to fix it????
My system is Win XP

Thanks.

Find the speaker icon in the bottom right of the screen (near the clock) and double click on it. This should bring up a mixer application - usually the WINDOWS MIXER. You need to find the "Record" settings, and switch off "Stereo Mix" as the recording input, and select "Line In" or "Mic In" (whichever you are using) instead.

"Stereo Mix" is sometimes just called "Mix", or "What U Hear".
