Cutting up audio books?

Post by milew666 » Sat Nov 13, 2010 9:57 pm

How would I go about taking different words from an audio book and putting them together to make a sentence, sentences that were not there before, but with that persons voice, with words they said during the book. Like if he says "My mom was a crazy woman who liked to eat chocolate off of the floor all of the time" in one part and "then I laughed when I say my friend fall down the steps" and put it into " my mom laughed when I liked chocolate" obviously just an example, but how would I do that?

Even if you do manage to get all the words in the right order, there's going to be almost zero chance that it will be a convincing performance. Story tellers, announcers, and voice talent also use expression, pitch changes, meter, and rhythm to tell the story.

So you have to match all those up, too.

It's the same problem that people face when they try to become announcer/presenters by pitch changing their voice lower.

There's a bit more to it than that.
