How To Get Involved - Need Informaton

To whom it may concern,
Hello, I have been trying to GET INVOLVED in translating this GREAT
SOFTWARE - Audacity, but It's been a nightmare getting the software
needed for tranaslatiing to work properly. I am not a computer
programmer and so, the POEDIT program is very confusing. I always get
the same error message when trying to save a translation.....

Poedit error 7: field "Language -Team" still has initial default value ?!

I am very fluent in three languages, one being english ofcourse and am
very frustrated for not being able to resolve the above mentioned
error.

Would appreciate any input on the matter.

Thanks, Vladimir. Have you read the Translators page on the main web site? To discuss translation issues, you should subscribe to the audacity-translation mailing list, introduce yourself by writing to that list and say what language you want to translate into.

Before writing to the list, can you tell me here what language you are translating to? If there is already a translation, you need to edit the latest .po file for that language; if there is no translation yet, you need to download and edit the audacity.pot file.

To prevent the poEdit error, click Catalog > Settings and on the "Project Info" tab, change "Team" to whatever your language is.
