Audacity Forum

I have installed ver 1.3.4beta and have in the same folder the Manual manual-1.2 folder which was the version available at that time. Audacity is not 'seeing' this folder so where should I place it or configure it, so the the program help button can read it comprehensively?
Any help most appreciated.

From the 1.3.4 README.txt file:

"Note that Help is no longer built in, but accessible on the Web via links in Audacity."

When you click on 'help ' tab you get a notice:-

"You don't appear to have Audacity help files on your machine. You can download the help files and then access them from Audacity as you have just attempted"

All it needs is the address of the index file in that link and it would work. Hope the final version allows for this.
Meanwhile it is doing a superb job of transferring my old LPs to mps.

I have many manual installer in my computer here like you search but this version is not the same this is the local version or first version 0.3 installer manual. If you want to find more manual just search in any searching sites to find more output their.
