This is exactly the behaviour when linking is on and you have a label track.
By "linking" do you mean having the "snap to" enabled? I still do not have that enabled. But I am seeing that if I do not have a label track, I do not see this behavior. (I thought sure I saw it previously even without a label track but I guess I was mistaken; I'm definitely not see it now.)
This conflicts with your previous report of cutting at 2:31.
Oh, good point... :? It must vary depending upon some other factor. The previous notes about examples at 2:31, etc. were from a test with a different imported WAV. The testing I did to try to find where it begins was with a different imported WAV.
I can't reproduce this using 1.3.9.
I can reproduce it consistently in 1.3.9.

Given that I am not able to reproduce what I thought I was seeing without the label track, do you still want the screenshot? Or is this issue related to the label track and a known problem?

OK, if you are sure that you do not see the problem when you do not have a label track then this is definitely the linked-tracks-cuts-too-much bug. No screenshot needed.

BTW, by "linking" I mean Tracks (menu) > Link Audio and Label Tracks. This is different from Snap to.
