Loop Play at Slower different speeds...

Post by cboshdave » Thu Oct 22, 2009 3:24 am

First --- I love it! I was just recently turned on to Audacity and I think it is AWESOME!

In beta version, when I select Loop Play (Shift + Play button) it seems to play plays ONLY in 1.0 speed. Even though the speed pointer is on another speed. Is this a bug? I wanted to slow down a section and repeat it slower so I can practice playing with it.

Not a bug, but it would be nice to be more precise on the slider for the playback speed. I know I can arrow right and left to get a different speed, but then the numeric value does not show up. When I use the mouse, it is not as precise. Picky, I know...just a suggestion. :D

Thanks,
cboshDave

Which version of Audacity (look in "Help > About Audacity...") ?
What operating system / service pack?

I loaded the beta version of Audacity and I am running Windows Vista with the latest Service pack. I don't have access to the machine right now to get the specifics. I can verify this later.
