Re: PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!
When you connect a USB device like your deck, then Audacity hands control of the sound services to the device itself, includung the volume control. If youtr turntable has a gain control / volume control then you are lucky and you control the signal level from there.
If it doesn't have such a control - and some don't - then you are out of luck. You will need a different USB deck (I hope you kept the receipt if that is the case ...)
We could help you more if you told us the make and model no. of the USB deck that you are using.

And please don't "shout" by writing in capitals - it makes it tiring to read - and doesn't get you any better attention !!
Update: You need to show a little patience if you want your questions answered on this forum. It is "staffed" entirely by volunteers who give up their spare time to help out other folks with Audacity. They are spread across several time-zones around the world - and all have other things to to as well. So a double post, within an hour and twenty minutes, in shouting capitals is never appreciated by these forum helpers - it really gets their backs up !
