How MINUTELY one can edit in 1.3X

Post by stevesancarlos » Wed Sep 16, 2009 6:24 pm

I notice that in V 1.26 it's rather easy to edit, i.e., delete fractions of microseconds of audio content. But for some reason I'm having a lot of difficulty doing this in 1.3X. For example, in 1.3X I seem to end up with 0.5 second chunks, and Audacity won't let me manipulate audio that's any smaller than these chunks.

Now...I HAVE to imagine there is some base setting I haven't yet identified. If anyone knows of this setting, please advise. As is, although I really like 1.3X, for me this latest version isn't quite practical....yet. Thanks!

Near the bottom of the screen there is a tick box next to the words "Snap To". Clear the tick from that box.
