Can Someone Find an Ubuntu Equivalent?

This is a tutorial to set up Audacity to record from Spotify. I've tried to follow the instructions but recording doesn't take place.

I have doubts about the legality of recording from Spotify, but for getting Spotify to run in Linux you need to install WINE.
