Hi. I'm trying to use Audacity to learn music by looping over segments of songs until I can play the loop I'm studying. The problem is that I can't seem to save the loop markers when I close out the project. When I open it again, the last loop markers are gone. Is it possible to save them somehow, or at least make setting them up again a bit easier?
If not, can anyone recommend a Mac application that allows for this type of loop-in-progress work?
I used to use Acid Express, but I'm on a Mac now. Acid allowed you to import a song or clip and basically dice it any way you wanted and save it, so that when you load it back up, you pick up right where you left off...
Thanks,
Doug

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.
