Closed unexpectedly!!!

I recorded an interview and when I went to save it, the program closed. When I restarted it, it said that I could recover the files MANUALLY. But I do not know how to do that! Please help! :|

This happened enough times that they wrote pretty good disaster recovery tools.

Do you have any idea why Audacity stopped?

If you use Tiger or Leopard, you can use the drive management tools to make sure everything is OK.

Go > Utilities > Disk Utility > Select your drive.

The numbers at the bottom will tell you how full your drive is getting. Never let a production drive get over 90% full.

Verify. Repair Permissions. Close Disk Utility.

Do you run MacJanitor? That's the last housekeeping thing we have to do. Let's see how far you get up until now.
