Do I Download the Mac 0s X Intel or PPC?

Do I Download the Mac 0s X Intel or PPC?

I have a new iMac OSX 10.5.6, with an Intel core. Does this mean I download the Intel instead of the PPC version of Audacity?This is probably dumb, but it is the first time I'm trying to do this. Anne

I answered this at work just before the network system in our end of the building went into the mud. Technology is our friend.

There are known problems with Audacity 1.2 on a Mac/Intel/Leopard. You should be using Audacity 1.3. The latest version is Universal. It doesn't matter what kind of Mac you have.

It's under Recommended Download.

The download should start automatically if your browser has JavaScript running. Do not download "AVS Audio Editor."
