How to remove lyrics from music

Hi, I am new to audacity. I would like to remove the lyrics to a mp3 song so I can do a song parody at a party. Would someone tell me how to do this? I am using a i Mac Intel based. Thank you

Vocal Removal is harder to do than you would think. There are a lot of rules -- like the show has to be in stereo and the singer has to be in the middle with no echo or special effects -- and and generally, MP3 compressed files have problems doing it. But here are the tools:
