Installation tip for LADSPA plugins on OS X

This worked for me in Leopard 10.5.4, but may apply to other versions of Mac OS X.

The installer places the LADSPA plugins folder into the Root directory (Mac Hard Drive)/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins folder.

Audacity can't find them there, thus, the plugins don't appear in the plugin popdown menu. So, by moving the LADSPA folder to inside the Audacity folder, voila!!

Now all the plugins appear in the menu as they should.

To further clarify, my Audacity application folder contains the LADSPA folder, the nyquist folder and a plug-ins folder, for a total of 3 plugins folders.

Been there done that but still the effects are inactive - am i missing something?
