Nyquist plug-in problems
I'm having trouble installing a nyquist plug-in. Where do i need to put it to get it to show up in the "effects" tab? I have it under MAC hdd>Library>Audio>Plug-ins but it's not showing up under the effects menu. Thanks for any help!

Re: Nyquist plug-in problems
It goes in the "plug-ins" folder (as opposed to the "nyquist" folder, which you might expect). --Allen

Oops, I didn't see the last half of your question. It goes in Applications/Audacity/plug-ins, not in the Library/Audio/Plug-ins. --Allen

Re: Nyquist plug-in problems
When you downloaded the Audacity package and opened it, you should have seen several files and folders inside, including Audacity.app. For a lot of applications, you just copy the .app file to your Applications folder. But for Audacity, you should create a folder inside your Applications folder called "Audacity" and then copy everything that was in the package into this folder. One of these things will be the "plug-ins" folder I'm talking about. --Allen
