Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

Re: PLEASE HELP! Regarding: LAME LIBRARY
OK, before you lose it, Export As WAV and get a nice sound file that's hard to break. Audacity will not "Save" a sound file.
Now you have a protection copy of your work. Take a deep breath.
Apple > About This Mac > Tell me what the "Processor" line reads and the Version.
Do you intend to make a Music CD of your songs? You don't need the Lame Libraries if you do. Open your WAV file in iTunes, make a PlayList, and burn your brains out. If that doesn't work, tell me the step that failed.
