Tascam fw1082

Good day. Can anyone tell me if the tascam FW1082 functionality is supported by audacity? If anyone is using this console I would love to corospond with you or get more information on how audacity is working with it. I am a blind computer user using Leopard and VoiceOVer and am looking for a way to use a control surface for more of a board feel. Thanks.

I sincerely doubt it. Audacity is a pretty simple audio production program with its own tool set. We regularly run into problems where somebody will install a plug-in that needs interaction with the host sound program. Audacity starts blowing spit bubbles.
