Audio Units in Audacity 1.2 - where are they??

Hi, I'm Giacomo from Italy. I've installed Audacity 1.2 for my intel Mac. I'd like to know how can I scan the Audio Units folder in my Mac. I use logic pro as software to produce music. But I'd like to use Audacity for the mastering. So I'd like to load some of my Audio Units in Audacity. How Can I do this? I've read that some people use to use the menĂ¹ preferences-effects to enabale AU scanning. But in the last version there isn't this kind of menĂ¹. So how can I do a scan of Audio Units in my Mac? To male them visible to Audacity? I thank you all of you for the answer that you will give me.
Bye.
Giacomo.
