marking sections
Does marking sections serve any purpose other than helping Audacity to split a recording into separate files? For example, are these marks supported by other applications such as iTunes? If other programs can read these marks, I thought they would be a handy way of marking separate sections of a long file, such as a medley, without breaking the file into separate pieces.
Re: marking sections
Yes, it's quite handy if you want a section marked (for example "where does the second chorus start?")TimArends wrote:Does marking sections serve any purpose other than helping Audacity to split a recording into separate files?
I don't think so, although the is an application for converting labels into cue lists. (Label2CueConvertor)TimArends wrote:are these marks supported by other applications such as iTunes?
