Alright, I'm working on a project where we are collecting the time between utterances of speech. Basically, we give a participant a cue such as "say as many animals as you can think of". We record them doing this for a twenty minute interval.
What we need to do with Audacity, which is a little more difficult than we thought it would be, is to isolate the individual words and determine their onset and offset times. Our variable of primary interest is the interval between the utterances.
If anyone can point me in the right direction with this task, that would be the greatest. If you need anymore information, I'll be lurking around the boards, checking back frequently.
