I know this is probably a dumb question, but...
From the view menu I vertically fit my 5 tracks from a project to get a better idea of my time alignment. When I did this zoom the volume and pan functions where shrunk out of sight. Simply put how do I get them back. None of the options in the view menu seem to help.
Thanks

Re: Question about pan and volume controls
"Edit > Preferences > Interface"
Check that "Automatically fit tracks vertically zoomed" is NOT selected.
Use the mouse pointer to grab the bottom edge of the track and you can resize the trck by dragging it up and down.
You can also "collapse" and "un-collapse" tracks by clicking on the little arrow at the bottom of the track information box on the left hand side of the track.
