I've just downloaded and installed 1.2.5 for Mac OS X (Intel). The Help > Contents menu can't find audacity-1.2-help.htb, which doesn't appear to have been installed. How can I get this?

I found the answer to my own question at http://www.nabble.com/Offline-Help-Manual-t4122181.html. Apparently the .htb file was missing from released versions of 1.2.x for Mac. It is available in the download (for Intel Mac) at http://audacityteam.org/files/audacity- ... 6-test.dmg (and there is a corresponding link for PPC Mac).

This 1.2.6-test.dmg is evidently not at that URL any longer.
