How do I loop the sound while editing, so I do not have to restart "play" all the time?

Instead of pressing <SPACE> to start and stop, press the L key.

Or "Shift + Left Click" on the play button if you prefer.
You can also still use the pause button (or the "P" key) to pause the loop playback.
