I noticed more and more fans are sharing music at 24/192.
Someone mentioned that Audacity can play 24/192.
I'm a mac user (OS 10.5.6) and as far as I can tell from the mac's audio MIDI setup, the mac's internal speakers can go up to 96 khz.
My question is how can I output the audio as 24/192 (using audacity) to external speakers?
Or do I need to use a DAC to do that?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Playing 24/192 audio files on audacity
A WAV or AIFF file in 24/192 format should be compatible with Audacity and play automatically. If you have problems with it, try Audacity 1.3.12.
