opening existing sound file from Digital Performer
I have a large number of WAV files created in Digital Performer. But exporting these files to my iTunes is not working well—randomly inserts little gaps in the tracks. So I wonder whether I can open these existing files in Audacity and do the exporting from there. Don't see anything about it in the manual. Anybody have experience with this?

Re: opening existing sound file from Digital Performer
Try it on a short one. Audacity is more particular about the accuracy of the WAV file structure than iTunes, is, so I'm not bettin' the farm on success. If you import the same file multiple times, does it fail or break up in the same place every time?
Better yet, Play one of the files in QuickTime and Press Apple-I for INFO. What does that panel say? It should say: 16-bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000kHz.
It could say mono instead of stereo and the 48 could be several different numbers.
