Ripping Music

Hi guys.. I saw this pretty cool tutorial on how to rip music online but I can't seem to change the wave output. The only option I have is Internal Microphone. Can anyone help?

Macs have a rough time of it because they've never been able to deal with this internally. You can use the crossed cable trick, or you can install SoundFlower. Without spending a bunch of money, those are the only ways I know of.
