Hello
I have just downloaded audacity and am trying to record sound from a minidisc. But toolbar message saying default input source won't let me change it to line in
So the computer a MAC OSX is recording the sound in the room instead
Can anyone help?

Leave Audacity set to "Default" and go into...
Apple > System Preferences > Hardware > Sound
And reset it there. The Apple audio meter should pulse if you play the minidisk.
