I'm looking for a basic PCI sound card with no fancy outputs etc. Just Stereo Line In and Line out. Op system is Mac OS X 10.4
Any suggestions?

I think the G3 machines were the last ones to split between Mic-In and Line-In. Have you tried your own Line-In?

Mirror Front? Which one if not? Unlike PCs, the Mac Line-In is pretty well shielded and the ones I've messed with work very well. I've done theatrical audio mastering with my G4 PowerBook just as it came out of the tastefully designed box.
