no installation on mac OSX

my operating sistem is 10.4.11.

I put the audacity 1.2.6 folder into my application folder. when I lunch the program the window about languages appears and when I click on "Italian" the program collapse and the mac's report appear.

I recently re-install the opereting sistem, befor do this audacity works correctly.

Hi!

If you and me have the same problem it does not seem to be such an extrange problem, I looked att all the bugs for the program, but there was no description of such a problem. I had Audacity installed before without any problem, but I wanted to try other music programs and I desinstalled Audacity.
Have you had Audacity installed before? That could mean that something remains from the old installation that is interfering with the new installation. Such problem is common on PC systems, but it is the first time I have it on a Mac.

I had Audacity installed, than I had to reinstal all the operating system and after this the problem cames out.

I found the solution to (anyway my) the problem!

On " 1.2.6 PPC only launches in English" they offer another version that I started in english, it worked!! later in PREFERENCES I changed to Swedish, and it works!

Thanks to all that have thought about the problem and I hope this will help my italian and german brothers in distress.

Thanx, I also got a running application when I selected English as language. But later changes to German generated a brake-down at each next start. After deleting the 'audacity Preferences' file a new start with english was possible and for this I will continue only with English

Not if you download the program above, is (I think) a version specially PPC users that have another language than english, try it!
